In short: I’m a journalist.

For the past five years, I’ve worked in digital media as a correspondent, reporter, producer, and researcher doing news, analysis, features, and investigations on (and from) Australia and the broader Asian region.

I’m currently based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) where I freelance for The New York Times. I also work remote for national broadcaster ABC’s Asia Pacific Newsroom, covering news in the region.

Prior to this I was the Northern Territory correspondent for Australia digital media, Crikey.
